  Our Family of 6 was looking for a good breakfast on a Sunday morning before we headed back home to Klamath Falls Oregon. Started Google some places to eat. Saw it had 4.5 starts and gave it a shot!
  
  So glad we did. The food was better than good. It was outstanding! Same with the service there as well! When the waiter took all of our orders without writing them down. The orders where spot on!!! Coffee was very good and stayed full. But the food was very flavorful and the amounts where very satisfying. We hope to go back next time we visit and have another killer breakfast again! Thanks for the great experience and making us feel at home! Highly recommend it to anybody. Even if you're just visiting

  I moved here almost 5 years ago now and The Big Blue was one of the first little spots I tried with new friends when I lived in the dorms going to HSU. I always come back here, I have tried many breakfast places in Humboldt and this is by far my favorite. One tip I can give is that it does get crowded, my boyfriend and I often read whatever newspapers or magazines they have and take our time waiting, eating, etc. That said to me it is an experience, I don't go here to get out fast. I go here to read the journal, people watch on a Saturday, sip a delicious white chocolate mocha or maybe a mimosa, and enjoy the experience. The servers are kind and well trained, I recognize many of them as being there as long as I can remember. Don't let any of the newer/fanicer breakfast spots fool you, this is the best.
